The gateway to Simlipal ,jashipur is world famous for tigress Khairi who was adopted by a forest offcial and spent all her days with him.A very picturesque plave with the simlipal forest range just bordering the town. Jashipur has a crocodile sanctuary. Here crocodiles are bred and then released onto the rivers to keep the ecological balance. A must see for tourists passing through the way or on their way to Simlipal.
